RAW10 was a great year for media coverage! For the first time, RAW was approached by ABC television to film a documentary on RAW for Landline. It also featured on 3 stations’ evening news programs and 3 radio stations. The ABC documentary can be viewed below.

“Health Students embrace rural lifestyle,” was a feature article of Bush Alert, the magazine for the RACGP’s Rural Faculty. You can find the article on page 6.
The RAW crew of 2008 produced a media release that was sent to various media outlets.
RAW 08 was the talk of the town in Dunedoo for October 2008!
Partyline, the magazine of the National Rural Health Alliance wanted a feature article on RAW 08 for their April 2009 edition. See page 10.

The Inaugural Rural Appreciation was a feature article in the Royal Australian College of General Practice’s December 2007 Edition of “Bush Alert” on page 6.
“As an international student, I had a vague idea of what the challenges were if I were to live and prectice as a GP in rural Australia, and the weekend revealed them to me in ways that far exceeded my expectations.” Brahm, a PhD student from UNSW comments on his experience of the Rural Appreciation Weekend in 2007.
